Hi GALS! I’m back to revive this blog..

It has been months since my last entry. Well, as you gals know, i was super busy preparing for my exam... i must say it was a really tough period for me. But glad it’s finally over. For now, i shall start “enjoying life” , well, at least for next few months till the release of results..Oh no, the thought of it. Keeping my fingers crossed, pray for the best..

12 days has passed seen my last paper. So what have i done so far.. mmm.. Finished watching a Korean drama now watching another one. I have always been pretty into Korean drama &pop and thanks to my sister, who constantly fills me in with the latest korea pop news and introduced me to Korea pop groups, such as Wonder girls and Super junior, Big Bang, SM town..Now I’m a big fan of Kpop. Anihaseyo....

Catched Kungfu Panda with Wanyi last Sunday and it was really a hilarious one. But I was kind of disappointed as i expected more from the role of the “monkey” whom Jacky chan had dubbed for. I think his limelight was stolen by the “Tigeress” – Angelina Joline, whom has got a sexy voice.. heee..

Was invited to one of my colleague’s housewarming gathering yesterday, and guess what. Hehehe...That colleague happens to me yuyun’s friend too! As expected, me and yuyun met during the gathering, and we started talking non-stop.. guess its was becos we had not seen each other for months. We discussed the agenda for our next meeting and our plans for the next holiday trip and chalet..Yuyun shared with me the photos which she took in her recent trip to HK, but her camera went into low battery and in the end, i only saw half of the pictures.. But nvm, looking forward to see them again in our next meeting. Then we went separate way, she went to her secondary friends and me started socialising with my colleagues and other colleagues whom i never knew before from other departments. We started playing board games in the host room. It was a pretty weird game, with a monster going around eating pple -like a complex version of snake and ladder with 8 players.. Hahaha...Nevertheless, i played along and got a hang of it soon. Though the game was a bit weird one,but i enjoyed myself with the company of the new friends. After the game, we started snapping photos in the host room. We left at abt 6 plus and decided to head off for dinner. I wasn’t quite familiar with the place, since it was towards the east part of Spore. Kallang and Geylang.I didn’t know they are walking distance away from each other until yesterday.. hehehe.. We were deciding whether to eat steamboat, however there were so many to choose from, one whole stretch of Steamboat restaurant lo.. In the end, we ate ‘zhi cha’. An enjoyable day indeed with lotsa eye opening experiences, u know that area is known for those things.. u know what i meAN.. shall share with u gals in our next meeting.. heee...

Heyx gals! I'm back to revive this blog! U gals should start blogging to revive this blog again too!

Anyway, the reason for this 3 months hiatus is simple------I've been working so HARD (I mean really HARD) for this past 3 months.

This school term has been real crazy...till the point i cant see myself smiling anymore when i see the kids.

The only reason i'm here blogging now is because its the holidays!

How glad am i to see the calendar month change from "MAY" to "JUNE". I've never treasured the june hols as much as now...to be finally away from school...the students...politics...MARKINGS...stresss...

Lets see what i've done for the past 3 months...

• planning my lesson plan for lesson observation
• clearing my observation
• setting a maths topical test
• clearing my turn to take minutes for contact time
• doing my work review
  
• doing up powerpoint slides for "learning at home" day
• marking during my free periods, before sch starts, bringing home the loads after sch ends
• preparing them for the exams
• practice papers after practice papers (marking 30 copies x 17pages each for almost 4 sets of papers...u do the maths)
• preparing revision powerpoint slides
• endure the stress of seeing them take the papers (wondering what they will be scribbling on that precious exam paper that will affect my reputation)
• going early to mark their papers
• going thru their papers again n again to look for extra marks and no mistakes in markings
• preparing myself to meet the "head" for analyzing results
  
• typing remarks for every student
• preparing report books
• making sure files are ready for file checks

U really cant imagine how crazy the past 3 months have been for me...no social life at all...stress level is so high till the point i almost reach my breaking point(thank god i manage to hold myself together until the last day of the term).

All along i've always boasted to wc that my memory is so good but getting into this profession, i've seen my memory deteriorate by leaps and bounds. There are just too many things to do and they are all squeezing inside my teeny weeny brain that i just dunno what to do n when to do what.

Thank god all these are coming to an end soon. All i've left is 1 week of meetings and 4 weeks of teaching and off to nie i go. Never have i been so glad to get back into books, exams, school life where i'm the student n not the teacher. I really need to take a break from teaching...reflect on what i've done for the past 1 year and preparing myself for the challenges ahead when i graduate from nie.

One thing is for sure--------->Teaching is not an easy profession.
Passion is the only motivation for me in pursuing this path.
